It was standing-room only April 4 as Father Lito Amande, Fort Hood Catholic

Community Chaplain, conducts the first Catholic Mass at the new Carl R.

Darnall Army Medical Center's chapel. More than 45 attended the mass, which

is held at noon every Monday at the CRDAMC (R) chapel, located on the second

floor of the new hospital. The first Protestant service coincided with the

new hospital's April 3 opening. The new chapel's dedication ceremony is

scheduled for May 1 at 10 a.m.
