The Cody Child Development Center will be open for regular business hours on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, on the Fort Myer portion of Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall. The "suspicious odor" emergency responders investigated earlier today was determined to be a natural gas leak. JBM-HH public works and safety professionals isolated the problem and will continue to monitor the situation throughout the night. As they become available, updates to the Cody CDC's operating status on Friday, Jan. 15, will be posted to JBM-HH's Facebook and Twitter pages and sent to parents via ADHOC messaging, TS Gold and Syms message systems. Parents are advised to confirm the center's operating status before driving children to the center.
