The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Baumholder BOSS program was presented the Best Teamwork award for 2014-2015 during the recent 2015 BOSS training at the Shades of Green Army Resort in Orlando, FL Oct. 1.

Baumholder's BOSS program was selected as the best amongst the 12 BOSS programs in Europe.

"Baumholder has demonstrated excellent communication, coordination and participation, according to Angela S. Flowers, Installation Management Command-Europe recreation program manager.

"Their programming and events were innovative and inviting. The triad of BOSS president, Morale, Welfare and Recreation advisor and command sergeant major worked together to be a part of the BOSS Life Skills Pilot program. This award is one all programs should emulate to achieve," she said.

"It was a complete surprise for us. We had no idea that we had been selected for this recognition. Our Baumholder BOSS Soldiers have definitely earned it. They are a great group that always demonstrates the essence of this award -- teamwork," said Mary Jane Spreier, Baumholder Morale, Welfare and Recreation BOSS advisor.

Selection for the award was determined by the IMCOM-E BOSS president, IMCOM-E program manager and IMCOM-E command sergeant major.
