There are many national and local STEM internship programs. All of these programs have the common goal of strengthening the nation's research and development enterprise through education and research participation programs.
The programs strive to advance science education and research programs, with a vision to be a national leader in doing so.
They also strive to create opportunities for collaboration through partnerships with Department of Energy, or DOE, facilities, other federal agencies, the academic community and industry.
