U.S. Army Reserve Spc. Anthony Mederos, a Tallahassee, Fla., native, representing the 412th Theater Engineer Command, begins the four-mile ruck march just steps behind the front-runners April 28 at Fort McCoy, Wis. Mederos is competing to be named the Best Warrior for the 412th TEC in the 2015 Combined TEC Best Warrior Competition.
