In a policy decision promulgated by a Feb. 25, 2015 memorandum, the Secretary of the Army, the Honorable John McHugh, directed the opening of all positions in open occupations to women in the U.S. Army Special Forces Command (Airborne), Army National Guard Special Forces Group (Airborne) Battalions, Military Information Support Operations Command Tactical Psychological Operations Team, and Special Forces Military Free Fall Operations Additional Skill Identifiers 4X (officers) and W8 (enlisted).
