VALENCIA, Spain (Dec. 1, 2014) -- The Commander of NATO Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum, Gen. Hans-Lothar Domröse, conducted a Key Leader Conference at the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps to prepare for Exercise Trident Juncture 15, here, Nov. 27-28.

With more than 25,000 participants operating in three countries, this exercise will be the largest of its kind since the fall of the Berlin Wall. For the NATO Alliance, this large-scale, highly-visible exercise will be an ideal venue to prove its preparedness, readiness, flexibility and effectiveness.

In addition, the intensive USAREUR participation in Trident Juncture 15 will be another big milestone in the "Strong Europe" concept for improving readiness and interoperability throughout the alliance.

The Commander of 21st Theater Sustainment Command Maj. Gen. John O'Connor also participated in the planning conference, and will support the logistics aspect of the exercise through enabling the joint logistic support team, which will operate from Spain.

The exercise is scheduled for Fall 2015 in Spain, Portugal and Italy.
