NEW -- Commissary parking lot construction causing parking problems -- use caution, be patient
Due to safety-related construction on the Fort Myer Commissary parking lot, visitors are being asked to use caution when driving and walking in the area of the commissary and not to park in restricted areas.
The safety of the JBM-HH community is always of utmost concern. Please be patient. We are working to correct the situation for ease and safety of access.
A part of the Commissary parking lot is closed right now. Workers expect the lot to reopen completely by Nov. 7. Although the work is being done during the night, the lot being repaved must cure during the daytime hours and is not available for parking. The commissary will remain open, and the lot will be repaved in phases. But, there will be limited parking at the commissary during this time.
Rader Army Health Clinic parking is set aside for patients; Cody Child Development Center parking is set aside for parents to park as they drop off and pick up their children.
