Bartee, visited 401st Army Field Support Brigade and 3-401st AFSBn Aug. 27 to get a firsthand look at preparations and procedures in place to handle large amounts of equipment expected to be turned in for disposition in accordance with Army directives.

Williams and Bartee had an opportunity to view processes and procedures and talk to the military, civilians and contractors who are charged with receiving equipment from units, maintaining property accountability, de-installing government furnished and add-on equipment, washing, packing, shipping and tracking thousands of pieces of equipment ranging in size from hand-held items to MRAP recovery vehicles.
