The Family initiative, "Talk, Listen, Connect: Deployments, Homecomings, Changes" was launched in April 2008.

It provides support and significant resources for military Families with children ages 2 to 5 who are experiencing the effects of deployment, multiple deployments, or a parent's return home with a combat-related injury," according to the Web site.
