ANSBACH, Germany (July 18, 2014) -- U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach Ansbach SKIES Unlimited has scheduled another soccer camp from July 28 through Aug. 1 at Barton Sports Field.
According to John B. Hartman, with SKIES Unlimited, program officials are looking for more participants as quickly as possible to ensure this next soccer camp goes off without a hitch.
SKIES Unlimited also hosted a camp during spring break, during which several U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach students learned soccer, from fundamentals to more advanced skills as part of the USAG Ansbach SKIES Unlimited program. Sebastian Korst, Lorenzo Rodriguez and Jems Wieland taught soccer skills to community children of varying ages and skill levels.
The Summer Soccer Camp is scheduled to run the full week from July 28 through Aug. 1 (Monday through Friday), and is taught by professional soccer players from ProSoc Academy. Classes cover team tactics, group drills, individual attention, and soccer skills and accuracy.
For children ages 3 and 4, camp times are from 2 to 3 p.m. daily and cost $50 for the week. For children ages 5 and 6, camp times are from 3 to 4 p.m. daily and also cost $50 for the week. For participants 7 to 18, camp times are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and cost $180 for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
