FORT SHAFTER, Hawaii--Soldiers, Leaders, Civilians, and Family members formed up at the Historic Palm Circle for a 1.5 mile family fun run on Fort Shafter June 9. The fun run was part of several activities associated with the Pacific Theater Army Week which commemorates the Army's 116-year presence in the Pacific region. Soldiers will participate in various activities in the weeklong celebration. The Pacific Theater Army Week will conclude June 13 with the 239th Army Birthday Commemoration.

Like Family, physical fitness is a daily part of being professional Soldiers.
