CSM Patrick M. Quirk hails from Marshalltown, Iowa. He entered the United States Army in June of 1988 and attended One Station Unit Training at Fort McClellan, Alabama graduating as a Military Policeman.
During his military career, CSM Quirk has served in leadership positions including Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Operation Sergeant, First Sergeant and Battalion Operations Sergeant Major.
CSM Quirk's stateside assignments include Fort A.P. Hill, Va, Fort Bliss, Texas and Fort Riley, Kansas. His overseas assignments include duty in three tours in Germany, one tour in Korea and one tour in Japan. CSM Quirk's deployments include Operation Iraqi Freedom I and Operation Enduring Freedom IX-XI.
CSM Quirk's civilian and military education include Protective Services Training, the Warrior
Leaders Course, the Advanced Leaders Course, the Senior Leaders Course, the First Sergeants
Course, Battle Staff and is graduate of the United States Sergeants Major Course Class #59. He
is currently pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice through Excelsior College.
CSM Quirk's awards include the Bronze Star (1 OLC), the Meritorious Service Medal (5 OLC),
the Army Commendation Medal (4 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (2 OLC), the Valorous
Unit Award, the Army Superior Unit Award, the Army Good Conduct Medal (7th Award), the
National Defense Service Medal , the Korean Defense Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign
Medal with Campaign Star, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War
on Terrorism Service Medal, the Non Commissioned Officer Development Ribbon (w/ number
4), the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Ribbon (6th Award), the NATO Medal and the
CSM Quirk is married to Ms. Melinda Quirk and they have twins, Alexis Ann and Ashton Michael.
