REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- A U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command employee is beginning the next chapter of her life.
Vernal "Bunnie" Scales, a program analyst with SMDC's Technical Center, retired during a ceremony at the command's Redstone Arsenal headquarters Jan. 28.
During the ceremony, Scales received the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service, a certificate of appreciation, a three-star note, and a certificate of retirement and pin. Scales retired with 30 years of federal service.
