FORT LEE, Va. - Congratulations to Brig. Gen. John F. "Jack" Haley - Lt. Gen. Edward C. Cardon, U.S. Army Cyber Command commanding general, left, and Jennifer Haley pin the rank of brigadier general on him during his Jan. 24 promotion ceremony. Haley is the 38th Chief of Ordnance and Ordnance School commandant.

After sharing several stories of serving with him, Cardon added, "we are truly blessed to have Brig. Gen. Haley as a future leader in logistics."

Haley has been stationed at Fort Lee since May 2013 and is responsible for overseeing the training of more than 28,000 ordnance students annually.

"As I transition to a general officer, I am honored, humbled and thankful to be able to continue to serve our great nation and Army," Haley said. "I commit myself to leading with a serving heart."

The Ordnance School instructs students in 33 enlisted career fields, nine warrant officer specialties and two officer areas of concentration. Training areas include munitions, explosive ordnance disposal and mechanical and electronic maintenance.
