ACC-RSA civilians complete leader investment program

REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. - Four Army Contracting Command- Redstone civilian employees recently graduated from the Aviation and Missile Command's 2013 Leader Investment for Tomorrow program.

Judson Alexander, Sonya Anderson, Cassandra Boyd and Sherry Miller completed the 11--month program and were honored at a Dec. 12 graduation ceremony.

Maj. Gen. Lynn Collyar, AMCOM commanding general, encouraged the graduates to use what they've learned in their training. He presented certificates of completion at the ceremony.

"Leader Investment for Tomorrow: It's not just for tomorrow, it's for today also," Collyar said. "This is for the well-being of all of our organizations here at Team Redstone."

The program, sponsored by the command's G-1 (Human Resources) career management division, includes UpLIFT for GS-11 and below; LIFT for GS-12 and GS-13; and Advanced LIFT for GS-14 and GS-15.

The 57 graduates included UpLIFT Class 12 which had 22 members; LIFT Class 14 which had 23 members; and Advanced LIFT Class 7 which had 12 members. They represented organizations throughout Redstone.
