Maj. Gen. Jeffrey S. Buchanan, JFHQ-NCR/MDW commanding general, and Mr. Egon F. Hawrylak, JFHQ-NCR/MDW deputy commander, present a token of appreciation to Col. Michelle L. Roberts for her service at the Joint Force Headquarters-National Capital Region/U.S. Army Military District of Washington as the Public Affairs chief since June 2011.
Col. Roberts will retire from the U.S. Army effective January 2014. She will be moving to Jacksonville, Florida with her son to become the communications director at the Wounded Warrior Project.
