USAR Drill Sergeant Naimah Cabbagestalk is a native of Edgemoor, S.C., and a graduate of Lewisville High School. She enlisted in the United States Army in 2018 as a 68W Healthcare Specialist and attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, S.C., and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The United States Army Reserve Drill Sergeant of the Year (USAR DSOY) is a distinguished Army Reserve service member assigned to the 108th Training Command who serves as a vital link between the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), the Center for Initial Military Training (CIMT), and USAR Drill Sergeants.
