The KATUSA and US Soldier Friendship Week in Area IV ended with the Republic of Korea Army military band and a Taekwondo demonstration team giving performances to celebrate the week of festivities. The US Army Garrison Daegu Commander, Colonel Kathleen Gavle, made a speech and encouraged both KATUSAs and US Soldiers to stay united as one team. The friendship week is an annual event across the peninsula, and it celebrates the alliance between the US and the Republic of Korea.
