Harry G. Kramer III quote
Harry G. Kramer III, son of Harry G. Kramer Jr., a Soldier who was the first U.S. combat fatality in the Vietnam War. The occasion was a wreath-laying ceremony at the West Point Cemetery, Oct. 21.

When I'm asked if my father's death was a waste, I vehemently respond with a resounding No! My father set an example of what a warrior does. A country could conceivably fail its Soldiers, but a Soldier will never, ever fail his country.
