<b>Training Support and Resourcing Conference</b>

<b>What is it' </b>

In a fully collaborative effort with other Army operational readiness stakeholders, the Readiness Core Enterprise lead hosts a Training Support and Resourcing Conference (TSRC) quarterly to plan, synchronize and facilitate execution of all significant training events, training support and resourcing processes for brigade-sized units as they progressively build readiness and prepare to meet their latest arrival date or available force pool date. The TSRC better enables the Army's effort to provide trained and ready forces to combatant commanders, while also providing Soldiers and their families a greater level of predictability.

Representatives from HQDA, National Guard Bureau, Army Reserve Command, Training and Doctrine Command, Army Materiel Command, Installation Management Command, DRUs, ASCCs and representatives from the generating force attend or are invited to participate in the week-long TSRC at Fort McPherson, Ga.

<b>What has the Army done' </b>

The RCE continues to mature and refine the Institutional or Generating Force processes associated with ARFORGEN through planning and synchronizing events such as the TSRC and the RESET Support and Resourcing Conference. In particular, the TSRC coordinates resources to support collective training upon a unit's entry into the ARFORGEN Train-Ready Pool (the ARFORGEN Phase immediately following RESET). Along with the quarterly "on-site" TSRC, monthly Training Support and Resourcing Conference VTC's are conducted. These are used by the RCE community to refine training plans, ensuring units are adequately resourced 45 -90 days prior to their culminating training event.

<b>What does the Army have planned for the future' </b>

By design, the ARFORGEN process adjusts to meet the changing demands of the combatant commanders. The TSRC, along with the RSRC, are two essential events enabling RCE participants to orchestrate manning, equipping, training, deploying, sustaining, modernizing and mobilizing systems of the Army Enterprise and build unit readiness in a dynamic sourcing environment. The RCE, in close coordination with the other core enterprises, DRUs, and ASCCs will continue to improve the way we synchronize the Generating Force and Operating Force to progressively build readiness.

<b>Why is this important to the Army' </b>

For the institution to efficiently generate trained and ready forces, the Army must conduct continuous planning and synchronization of supporting processes. The TSRC's detailed planning and synchronization helps the Army achieve the CSA's desired efficiencies to produce a sustainable, versatile mix of tailorable and networked AC/RC modular formations, operating on a rotational cycle providing a sustained flow of trained and ready forces for full spectrum operations.
