Community Connections Program

Local communities are partnered with 15 brigade-level unit commanders to keep communication flowing, develop close relationships and participate together in events. The goals of the Community Connections Program are to increase interaction between the military and local communities, enhance understanding of today's Army and Fort Lewis, and develop and maintain strong and positive community partnerships. Recently, an Adopt-A-Company program was added to the Community Connections program, where local organizations and businesses team up with 30 companies in the brigade to support them during deployment.
