Fort Sill offers free financial classes

Soldiers and family members are encouraged to learn more about handling finances through Army Community Service classes in Building 4700.

"Financial readiness and resilience is of great importance to the well-being of our military families," said Zilpa Oseguera, Financial Readiness Program team lead. "It is our mission to empower our Soldiers with these financial tools so they can make better financial decisions and to help them build a strong financial future."

Financial Management Training

Basic financial planning and budget development. Offered every third Tuesday from noon to 4 p.m. and every third Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon.

Checkbook Management Training

How to keep track of financial records. Offered the second Tuesday of each month in the Training Room.

Command Financial Adviser Training

Training for E-6s and above on how to help subordinates in different financial situations. Call 580-442-4916/3080 for training.

Relocation Financial Preparedness Training

How to relieve financial stress when moving. Class is offered the last Friday of the month and mandatory for E-4s and below on their first PCS.
