WIESBADEN, Germany -- Several Army in Europe organizations were among 36 logistics units honored as winners in the 10th Annual Chief of Staff of the Army's Combined Logistics Excellence Awards program.
In a ceremony at the Pentagon, Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Raymond T. Odierno and Acting Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics Kathleen S. Miller re
cognized winners from across the Army's active and reserve components for excellence in deployment, maintenance and supply.
Commands nominated one or more units based on published guidelines and regulations. Evaluators from the U.S. Army Transportation, Ordnance, and Quartermaster Centers, augmented by Army National Guard and Army Reserve Soldiers, traveled worldwide to conduct on-site evaluations of nominated units.
