Easter in the Handwerkerhof Nürnberg
Starting March 16, the Handwerkerhof in Nürnberg, a medieval enclosure across from the main train station, is open again and kicks off the season decorated in Easter fashion; all the little traditional houses, the stores and restaurants and the well will feature season greens, colorful eggs and more. The Handwerkerhof is open Monday -- Saturday from 9 a.m. -- 10 p.m.; the stores are open 10 a.m. -- 6:30 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. -- 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Easter Market in Nürnberg
The traditional annual Ostermarkt takes place on Nürnberg's Hauptmarkt March 20 through April 6. More than 80 vendors are offering household products, wood and ceramic crafts, curtains, clothes, books and much more. Opening hours are 10 a.m. -- 7 p.m; closed on Good Friday, April 3! Spring Awakening - Rothenburg ob der Tauber
Many different events welcome the spring season in Rothenburg o.d. Tauber between March 21 and April 30. Live Music Night in Schwabach
The annual "Schwabacher Kneipenfieber," a live music pub crawl, takes place in various locations on March 21, starting at 8 p.m. 14 bands and musicians will play different musical styles, like Bues, Country, Pop, Swing or Funk in 14 locations. St. Patrick's Day Festival 2015 - Ahorntal

Ansbach "Saub(ä)er" City Clean-up
The city of Ansbach hosts their annual clean-up day on March 21 from 8:30 a.m. to noon; interested volunteers contact the USAG Ansbach Environmental Division at 09802-83-3306 (DSN 467-3306). Spring and Summer Bazaar
Lichtenau is hosting a spring and summer bazaar for used seasonal children's clothing, as well as toys and sport equipment. The bazaar is scheduled for Saturday, March 21 at the Volksschule Lichtenau on Schulweg 12, between 1 and 2:30 p.m. Coffee and cake will be offered by the students of the Mittelschule.

Easter market in Dinkelsbühl
The Dinkelsbühl Ostermarkt in the Spitalhof (Dr.-Martin-Luther-Straße 6) has more than 50 booths offering Easter decoration, arts and crafts, flower arrangements, books, garden decoration and much, much more. Hobby Artist Market in Bad Windsheim
A market featuring hobby artists and local producers takes place at the Kur- & Kongress-Center (Erkenbrechtallee 2) on March 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors find handmade flower decorations, greeting cards, Easter decoration, crafts, wood carvings, as well as locally produced bread, jelly, sausages or wine. Easter Egg Market - Ebermannstadt
Easter egg arts and crafts created with many different techniques can be found at the Ostereiermarkt at Pfarrzentrum St. Nikolaus (Kirchenplatz 7) in Ebermannstadt March 22 and 23. Weinturmlauf in Bad Windsheim
The annual fun run Weinturmlauf takes place on March 22 in Bad Windsheim; competitions vary from Nordic Walking, youth runs, hobby runs to half marathon; the runs' starting times are spread out between 10 to 11 a.m. Registration is possible via internet or on the day of the run (up to one hour prior to start). Open shop Sunday - Ansbach
The city of Ansbach is featuring an open shop Sunday March 22 with stores opening their doors for shoppers from 1 to 6 p.m. Ansbach Citymarketing is hosting an entertainment program downtown, including informational booths of business owners and clubs. A spring craft market is located in and around the Ansbach Stadthaus (inside Tourist Information), and a fashion show takes place in the Brücken-Center mall at 2 and 4 p.m.

Amazing Shadows in Erlangen
Amazing Shadows is a visual spectacle for the whole family to enjoy; the artists create animals, people or machines as shadows with their bodies behind a screen, emphasized with music. The show takes place on March 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Heinrich-Lades-Halle (Rathausplatz) in Erlangen. Abba Night in Ansbach
Abba fans gather for the 10th time in a row at the Oppel Autohaus in Ansbach-Elpersdorf (Liebigstr. 1) for the cult Abba party. The Swedish pop group inspires the fans to dress in 70's gear and dance the night away on March 28, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Kneipenfestival - Dinkelsbühl
The annual Kneipenfestival in Dinkelsbühl on March 28 is a live music night similar to a pub crawl. One ticket buys admission for all locations and artists; tickets can be purchased in all participating locations or at the Touristik Service Dinkelsbühl on Altrathausplatz 14 (09851-902440).
