FORSCOM 238th Army Birthday Ceremony

In honor of the Army's 238th birthday, Army units often celebrate with cake cuttings and fun runs. During the festivities held by the US Army Forces Command on Fort Bragg, N.C., attendees were treated to a rather uncommon sight on bases nowadays... a display of vintage military vehicles, including a world war two era "Willy's" jeep. Guests also enjoyed another rare sight... soldiers dressed in period uniforms from throughout the Army's history. The event was presided over by FORSCOM's chief of staff, Major General Leslie Carroll. The general also recognized several people for their volunteer efforts and contributions before introducing the event's special musical guests... the Loose Cannons rock band. Reporting from Fort Bragg, I'm Army Sergeant Cameron Christensen. Available in high definition.
