CAMP HUMPHREYS -- A ribbon cutting ceremony for the newest Army Family Housing units to open here was held May 2. The Housing Office began filling the three new buildings, which house 210 units, in March.

"We are proud to have this set of new towers in our Army Family Housing inventory," said Col. Darin S. Conkright, the Humphreys Garrison Commander while addressing those who attended the ceremony. "These apartments are state of the art...and allow an additional 210 military families here at Camp Humphreys to reside in on-post housing."

Other guest speakers were Patrick Beard, chief of the Korea Relocation Program Relocation Office, Far East District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Choi Shin-hyun, a vice president with Daelim Industrial Company, Ltd., the contract builder. Following the ceremony, attendees were invited to visit one of the units and partake in refreshments.
