Welcome to the Office of the Assistant G-1 for Civilian Personnel (AG-1CP). Our cadre of Civilian Army Professionals is responsible for participating in the formation and execution of Army policy, plans, and programs consistent with Army strategy.

AG-1CP, which is comprised of five Functional Divisions, provides Army-wide Civilian Human Resources implementation guidance in support of the proper functioning of multiple disciplines including recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, labor relations, performance management, workforce shaping, and awards, just to name a few. This website is designed to make it easier to find helpful resources within the AG-1CP; please use it freely and often.   • Program Support Division (PSD) Mission: 

    The Program Support Division is charged with providing internal operational support to the AG-1CP.  In addition, we are responsible for administering the Army Incentive Awards Board that reviews awards requiring the Secretary of the Army’s approval or endorsement, and we serve as the proponent for the Army Civilian Incentive Awards regulation, AR 672-20.  We are also responsible for Civilian HR Freedom of Information Act requests in accordance with 5 USC, and Public Law 106-554.
