March 29 is National Vietnam War Veterans Day

The Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act, signed into law in 2017, designated March 29 of each year as National Vietnam War Veterans Day. March 29, 2022, will be the fifth anniversary of this national day of recognition. Please join us in thanking and honoring Vietnam Veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice.

    Welcome Home!
    A nation honors our Vietnam Veterans and their Families.
    Dates: May 11-13, 2023
    The Vietnam 50th War Commemoration is from 11-13 May 2023 in Washington, D.C. on the National Mall at both the JFK Hockey Fields and West Potomac Park. Vietnam veterans will be honored for their enduring legacy of service, and welcomed home. Festivities commence Thursday, May 11 at 11 a.m. with an opening ceremony, a ribbon-cutting with special remarks and a flyover by four Vietnam War period Huey helicopters in four-ship formation. This three-day interactive, immersive experience, runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, will highlight the legacy of our Vietnam veterans, and the contributions of individual citizens, our allies, the services and nongovernmental organizations during the Vietnam War period.
