WHO WE ARE
DEVCOM AvMC is the nexus of Army aviation and missile modernization, fusing the operational requirements of Transformation and Training Command with the acquisition strategies of the Portfolio Acquisition Executives. The Center generates innovative science and responsive life-cycle engineering that allows the PAEs to execute programs at speed, delivering the asymmetric capabilities required to ensure our Soldiers dominate on the battlefield.

The Fires Directorate supports the Portfolio Acquisition Executive Fires in its mission to accelerate the delivery of decisive integrated fires capabilities to the Warfighter and our partners at the speed of relevance, guaranteeing overmatch in any environment.
The Maneuver Air Directorate supports the Portfolio Acquisition Executive Maneuver Air in its mission to equip the Army with a more lethal, adaptable, and sustainable aviation force, built on a foundation of open architecture and autonomy that outpaces our adversaries' innovation cycles. The readiness of the current force is maximized while the next generation of capability is fielded on schedule and on budget.
The ST&I Directorate's primary function is to enable capabilities that support both PAE Fires and PAE Maneuver Air. By centrally managing core competencies, including specific software functions, infrastructure, production, quality control and others, the Directorate ensures their consistent and efficient application across a wide range of Army programs, irrespective of their connection to a particular weapon system or portfolio.
