VILSECK, Germany -- Jose Vega, a first-grader in Christie Kennedy's class, and his little brother, Adrian, from Amanda Thompson's Sure Start class, listen as their mother, Yadira Vega, reads during Vilseck Elementary's 27th annual Bedtime Stories event, March 15.
During the event parents and children came dressed in pajamas to share in some bedtime stories. Local Soldiers and students from Vilseck High School's National Honor Society and Future Educators of America read to small groups of children and parents, and shared in this fun and worthwhile evening.
The event was part of the Red Hot Reading Program, which runs throughout March.
