Darmstadt Celebrates Army's Birthday

DARMSTADT, Germany - The community of U.S. Army Garrison Darmstadt celebrated the Army's Birthday June 12 with a luncheon and ceremony at the Kelley Dining Facility, the last such event for the closing installation. Lt. Col. David Astin (middle), commander of USAG Darmstadt; Command Sergeant Major Harold Littlejohn (left); and the youngest Soldier present, Pvt. 2 Mary Barba, 2nd Military Intelligence Battalion, cut the cake for attendees, who lined up around the dining hall to participate in the luncheon.
