Army Chaplain (Maj.) Douglas H. Ball received the coveted George C. Marshall Award for CGSC Class 2012-02 from CAC Commanding General and Commandant of the Command and General Staff College Lt. Gen. David G. Perkins. The award is presented to the distinguished graduate in each regular ILE class. Ball is the first Army Chaplain to ever receive the award. Ball also accepted congratulations from CAC Command Sergeant Major, CSM Christopher Greca and the ceremonies' Guest Speaker, Gen. David M. Rodriguez, who is the commander of U.S. Army Forces Command and the next Commander of U.S. Africa Command.
