The Association of the U.S. Army - Greater Los Angeles Area Chapter is sponsoring a symposium May 29-30 at the Westin Hotel in Long Beach, Calif.
The theme for the symposium is "Space & C4: Bridging From the Current to the Future Force." Speakers from participating military organizations include the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command, the Joint Functional Component Command for Space, the Defense Information Systems Agency, the U.S. Air Force Space Command, the Army's Office of the CIO/G6, Fort Carson, Colo., Fort Gordon, Ga., and others.
The symposium will feature a warfighter panel "The Warfighter's View" May 29, scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This panel brings together Soldiers who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Discussions will focus on the impact information technology has had on their missions.
