VILSECK, Germany -- Chaplain (Maj.) Stanley Copeland talks with Warrior Transition Battalion-Europe Soldiers during the Warriors in Transition Forum, Dec. 12. Soldiers and subject matter experts gathered to discuss issues within the unit and beyond, giving WTB-E Soldiers an intimate platform to voice concerns.
Although the audience was initially shy to speak up, Command Sgt. Maj. William Berrios urged Soldiers to take advantage of the unique situation.
"I pay them a lot of money," said Berrios of the subject matter experts in the room, lightening the mood. "Use their services."
One by one Soldiers spoke up, discussing housing concerns, weather conditions, employment training and other issues close to home. The forum provided immediate feedback and resolve.
The Warriors in Transition Forum is held quarterly. WTB-E Soldiers, members of the command and subject matter experts will meet again on March 20.
