One tasty lesson

ESCHENBACH, Germany -- Students from Carol Lanigan's third-grade class at Netzaberg Elementary pose with their gingerbread houses, Dec. 14.

The students are studying Christmas traditions from around the world. While learning about German Christmas customs, students discovered that gingerbread houses decorated with sweets. Students enjoyed making their own houses to put under their Christmas trees at home.
