Col. Richard Creed Jr., standing, commander of Division West's 479th Field Artillery Brigade, talks with veterans of the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack at the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, Texas, Dec. 7. Creed was guest speaker for a ceremony attended by hundreds to honor four Pearl Harbor veterans in attendance and all those who have served. "As long as we grow heroes like the ones we found in 1941, and 2001, our world will be a safer and more secure place in which to live," Creed said. (Photo by Lt. Col.
