FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. -- Soldiers with Fort Leonard Wood's 399th Army Band are getting ready to perform a variety of holiday music from around the world during their annual holiday concert series at 7 p.m. Dec. 10 at the post's Baker Theater.

For those who reside closer to Lebanon or Rolla, additional performances of the concert are scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Cowan Civic Center in Lebanon and at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Leach Theatre in Rolla.

This year's concert, "What a Wonderful World," will include everything from traditional favorites, to music from "The Nutcracker," and Latin and jazz standards. The concert will feature performances by the 399th Army Band Holiday Grooves Jazz Combo, Standard Brass Quintet, 1st Sergeant Miley and the Top Hats Big Band, and the Madera con Fuego Salsa Band.

"We have a great lineup for this year's concert," Chief Warrant Officer 3 Thomas Hager, 399th Army Band commander, said. "We are working on some new staging and lighting ideas so that our musical selections really stand out. This should be a great start to everyone's holiday season."

The concerts are free and open to the public.
