Sara Tifft completed her first Ironman in Tempe, Arizona last Sunday in a time of
16 hours and 12 minutes. Her 2.5 mile swim of 1:29, 112 mile bike at 7:41,
and 26.2 mile run at 6:42 put her at the exact time at the finish as her
father; CSM (Ret) Preston Tifft, EPG, a multiple finisher of the Arizona
Ironman distance.
