FORT LEE, Va. (Nov. 20, 2012) --The Ordnance School's 89D, or Explosive Ordnance Disposal Course, is in its second year at Fort Lee after relocating here from Redstone Arsenal, Ala. As is the case with many relocations, instructors and administrators continually tweak the curriculum to ensure the students are receiving the maximum benefit. The latest improvement came last week when the end-of-the-course portion dubbed EOD Challenge was moved from the Ordnance Campus to Training Area 23, located just off A Avenue adjacent to the Defense Contract Management Agency. The new training site boasts a larger, more secluded area to conduct the nine-station EOD Challenge. Fifteen students underwent the testing.
