Hurricane Sandy OPM Information for Federal Employees and Emergency Recall

WASHINGTON (Oct. 28, 2012 ) -- Due to Hurricane Sandy the Office of Personnel Management has issued a closure for Federal Employees, Oct. 29, 2012. The Joint Operation Center, or JOC, will be manned at Tier 1 Plus at 8 a.m. (EDT) until further notice.

All non JOC Tier 1 Plus personnel should remain at home. Personnel should contact their staff Director to determine if they are a Tier 1 Plus JOC Member.

During the storm all personnel must keep their supervisor informed of their status. If you cannot reach your supervisor call the JOC at 202-685-3747.
