CAMP SABALU-HARRISON, Afghanistan -- Maj. Gen. Kenneth R. Dahl, deputy commanding general for support, U.S. Forces Afghanistan, toured the Detention Facility in Parwan September 20, 2012, to gain a better understanding of the strategic-level mission performed at the DFIP. Dahl oversees logistical needs throughout Afghanistan. The tour was guided by Lt. Gen. Keith M. Huber, commander, Combined Joint Interagency Task Force 435; Brig. Gen. Dash Jamieson, deputy commander, CJIATF 435; and Col. Robert M. Taradash, commander, Task Force Protector. CJIATF 435 oversees all detainee operations in Afghanistan. Task Force Protector personnel oversee the secure and humane care, custody and control of the detainees within the facility.
