Adm. Samuel J. Locklear III, commander of U.S. Pacific Command meets with Soldiers during a tour of the U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) Contingency Command Post (CCP) at Fort Shafter, HI, Aug 1. The CCP consists of more than ninety personnel with the specific skills to provide a USARPAC forward command post capability, specifically focusing on small-scale contingencies such as supporting humanitarian assistance, disaster relief and peace operations.
