ASC NCO of the Year preps for new challenge

Sgt. 1st Class Jay Denton, Army Sustainment Command's NCO of the Year, undergoes a last-minute inspection by his sponsor Master Sgt. Paul Armour, prior to reporting to the Board Appearance Event of the Army Materiel Command Best Warrior Competition July 16. The top NCOs and Soldiers from throughout AMC are gathered at Rock Island Arsenal, Ill., for the three-day event to name the command's top NCO and Soldier of the Year.
