REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. - Sgt. Maj. John C. Mattie, G-3 sergeant major, U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command, retired from the Army with 32 years of service during a ceremony at Von Braun III auditorium June 22. Mattie received the Legion of Merit and the Noble Patron of Space during his ceremony.
