Mr. Michael DeMaria, Office of the Project Director Joint Products (PD JP), prepared budget estimates for 28 bomb programs administered by PEO Ammunition as the Single Manager for Conventional Ammunition for the Navy, Air Force and Foreign Military Sales customers. He used those estimates to develop detailed procurement plans for program execution. Mr. DeMaria also oversaw the re-plan, review and approval of all budget execution estimates, provided real time updates to the Contracting Officer, and oversaw issuance of funds while under schedule pressure to make contract awards within a week of final pricing availability. Mike's attention to detail and grasp of total integrated program planning concepts enabled the Army to make contract awards for accurate quantities and avoided wasteful, duplicative efforts to minor contract modifications later. Mr. DeMaria's skill, knowledge, team spirit and dedication enabled PD JP and the Army to fulfill customer orders for bombs efficiently and in a timely manner.
