The installation will celebrate the Fourth of July on Wednesday from noon to 10 p.m. at McGlachlin Parade Field. The annual celebration is open to the public.
The event will feature music, food vendors, games, rides, inflatables and fireworks. Children's rides are free beginning at noon. A DJ will perform from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. The band "New Monopoly" will perform from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase by a variety of vendors.
The Fort Meade Public Affairs Office will man an information booth at the gazebo and take photos to be used on free personalized Soundoff! covers.
Fireworks will take place at approximately 9:30 p.m.
In inclement weather, fireworks only will be held July 5 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Pets, grills and glass containers are forbidden.
