FORT SILL, Okla.-- Brig. Gen. Daniel Karbler receives his promotion at a frocking ceremony June 14 at the Old Post Quadrangle. The general has been at Fort Sill for four years as the 31st Air Defense Artillery Brigade commander, Fires Center of Excellence and Fort Sill chief of staff, and most recently the ADA School commandant and chief of ADA. To be a part of the move of the ADA team from Fort Bliss, to see the ADA and field artillery come together as a fires community, and to be the first ADA chief here "were wonderful event adventures," Karbler said of his time here. He will become commanding general of the 94th Army Air and Missile Defense Command at Fort Shafter, Hawaii, July 11.
