FORT HUACHUCA, Ariz. (NETCOM) -- The Chief of Staff of the Army announced today that Maj. Gen. Jennifer L. Napper, commanding general, U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command, was chosen for reassignment as director of Plans and Policy/J-5, U.S. Cyber Command, Fort Meade, Md.

Napper assumed command of NETCOM, Sept. 22, 2010. She also currently holds the position of deputy commanding general for Network Operations, U.S. Army Cyber Command/2d U.S. Army.

In the same announcement, Maj. Gen. Alan R. Lynn, commanding general, U.S. Army Signal Center, Fort Gordon Ga., was selected to replace Napper as the NETCOM commanding general. Lynn assumed the duties as the commanding general, U.S. Army Signal Center and Fort Gordon, Ga., July 21, 2010.

There is no confirmed date of departure or assumption at this time.
