FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. -- Fort Leonard Wood celebrated the Army's 237th Birthday today.
At 6:30 a.m., 10,000 service members gathered for an Army Birthday Run, led by Maj. Gen. Mark Yenter, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood commanding general.
In the afternoon, the installation celebrated Army civilians and Soldiers with an Army Birthday Lunch and cake-cutting ceremony.
